”Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. The option for self-check-in was very convenient and allowed us to arrive late without any issues. It's the perfect base to explore Bilbao and the surrounding area while staying outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommended!”

”Stayed 2 nights, excellent location, great host, unique city. Don't be concerned about the parking, it is much easier than it seems. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the Old City so you don't need to worry about driving anywhere for dinner. No elevator so be aware if you are staying on a top floor, but its definitely worth the climb.”

”Excellent week-end, l'accueil c'est bien passé, Clara parlait bien français. Le petit déjeuné était en supplément, ainsi que le parking privé (pas obligatoire des places de parking sont à proximité). La chambre était propre, la salle de bain avec WC commune aussi. Parfait pour une nuit.”
