”Our stay at Alejandro’s cabin was unforgettable. The place is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and very clean and cozy. Alejandro is a kind and genuine host who made us feel like family. He even played a traditional Mapuche instrument (Trutruka) when we left — a moment we’ll never forget. Highly recommend this unique experience in southern Chile! ”

”The staff were incredible! Special shoutout to Nahuel, who graciously received us after 11pm. He gave us several options for where we could stay. I stayed in a nice, spacious room with a queen bed and a larger bathroom across the hallway. My parents stayed upstairs in the bunk beds, with two bathrooms available. Nahuel prepared breakfast and coffee for us in the morning. It was excellent! He and I became friends by the end of our stay. The rest of the staff were in and out throughout our time...

”It was a real pleasure staying here for 5 nights during our stay in Puerto Varas. The staff were especially helpful and very kind. Very convenient location to the town. The Hotel El Greco is beautifully decorated with vintage memorabilia and historical items. The lobby, dining room, and each of the floors has the feeling of walking through a historical museum. The breakfast was great too! Will most certainly come here again next time we're visiting the Lake Region of wonderful Chile.”

”Spacious room, beautiful view of Lago Villarrica. Good breakfast, though a bit heavy on the carbs. Staff was helfpul, though most had limited English--Apple Translate definitely helped. Steep, long, narrow driveway from highway up to hotel was a little intimidating, but luckily we never encountered another vehicle on it. Very good value for the price. ”

”Charming and rustic hotel - love the wood craftsmanship and wooden ship details. Beautiful sunset view from the upper loft above the restaurant. Very clean and simple rooms at a price not seen in the USA since about the 1980’s. Food was excellent and breakfast buffet well appointed. Definitely would stay here again if we return to Chiloe.”
