”Great place for an overnight stay or two. Easy to find ample parking either on street or to the rear of the property. Great little place, decent clean and well kept. Room was comfortable and slept well. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and easy check in and out.”

”Our biggest disappointment resulted from what we consider to be false advertising. On ebookers the pictures under Argyll guest house are from nice and modern looking rooms, but our room was nothing like them at all. There's the Argyll hotel on the opposite side of the road from the guest house, so our conclusion is that the pictures are actually from the hotel, not the guest house. ”We have stayed here before and it is a good practical option for us when we visit family. It is clean modern and nice and warm. We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. That being said, we did manage ok for 2 nights. We did notice the noise from other guests a bit more this time than we did before. The location is ideal as there are shops, bars and decent restaurants...

However if you're a contractor just looking for a bed for the night and want a pint in the pub with a curry across the road or your with someone else's wife , a hot shower this place scores 10/10. .
