”They staff was very polite and helpful the breakfast was wonderful. The room we stayed in was big but the carpet was disgusting and some things were showing a lot of wear. If they would invest in a good carpet cleaning and spruce up the bathroom this would be 5 stars.”

”The TV channels and reception were terrible. All analog. There were lower channels that looked like they were working off a set of Tin Foil antennas. Really need to fix this.”

”We stayed because we needed enough room for 5, that was good. The building is old and alittle run down. First the door wouldn't open, we finally got it to open. We closed the door and needed something else from the car and the door wouldn't open. After several tries we finally got it open. The attendant had to come and take part of the threshold off the bottom of the door,so we could get in and out. I wouldn't stay there again.”

”It was okay for the price, peaceful and clean. Sadly the mattress was a bit uncomfortable & springy. I slept on top of the comforter and used my own. My room was clean and smelled great. The tv bit small for king size bed & room size. The channel selection was pretty basic. Small fridge worked. Very small microwave & it was a bit dented up but worked. I wouldn't mind staying there again if the price is right. Ive paid for nicer at same price or cheaper. I was worried about the reviews especially...

”Everything was filthy. There was a pile of dirty towels outside by door at 9pm check in that stayed there all night. The hook lock for the door was broken. The bath mat was filthy. the carpets in the room and halls had not been vacuumed.”

”This is a basic, no-frills old property that has aged well. The rooms are plain, and nothing but coffee in the office for breakfast. I am a traveler who looks for a clean place to sleep and shower; the frills don't matter. This fits the bill for someone who would rather spend their money on other things than frills in a room they will sleep in and be gone from in 12 hours. In cities, cheap hotels attract an element to stay away from, but that type is not touring the back roads of West Virginia.”
