”I would not recommend this place for anyone. First of all. You can entry the apartment only in the morning and in the evening after 7.30pm. I had been told that leaving luggage before check-in was possible but turned out it wasn't. No guest can have the key to the front door which is something I have never experienced before. ”What an amazing stay. Grand, elegant and tastefully restored farmhouse set in immaculate grounds. Our hosts, Helen and Jean were so welcoming and gave us do many useful ideas about places and restaurants to visit. ”This property is absolutely beautiful and charming with great views- I highly recommend the garden room if you can. The pool is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a walkable distance to shops and bus stops to get into the centre of Angouleme-just check the timetables thoroughly (use the SCNF app for reliable times and routes) and call local cabs well in advance.
