”I would not recommend this place for anyone. First of all. You can entry the apartment only in the morning and in the evening after 7.30pm. I had been told that leaving luggage before check-in was possible but turned out it wasn't. No guest can have the key to the front door which is something I have never experienced before. Hostess lives in the apartment with 2 dogs, 2 cats and with a very loud parrot. Parrot is grey parrot which is an endangered African species with extreme intelligence. I...

”This is exactly the kind of place you hope to find, but never seem to be able to - truly kind and helpful host, clean and spacious (and beautiful) room with gorgeous views over the vineyards, and an amazing breakfast (homemade jams and granola (!), as well as the best local breads, cheeses, and meats - truly a standout) each morning. Absolutely gorgeous gardens and pool, too!”

”Bernadette was an excellent host. Family of 4 was very comfortable in two adjoining rooms. Rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with modern amenities . Beds were very comfortable. Host asked us the night before when we would like breakfast, her suggestion for 9:00 am was perfect time. Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast. ”Beautiful property with lovely owners. The decor was stunning, so much history. I recommend you have dinner there too - utterly delicious and no problem catering to a food intolerance. Very quiet location and very comfortable luxury room made for excellent sleep too. I hope to stay again someday!”
