”Nice to have a host who understands and welcomes pets. This is very important to me and I am sure to other travelers. The property is beautiful and it was nice to have a grassy yard to go barefoot and great for a dog. Most country properties I have stayed in don't have a manicured lawn that is fenced in for furry friends. Loved the "moo moos"...lots of baby cows this time of year. ”

”We stayed at the Bird House for my daughter graduation weekend from Texas State University. Great location - peaceful vibe in the pecan trees, yet just 12 minutes from TXST campus. House is cute and has everything we needed (except dishwasher!!). We enjoyed swinging in the porch hammocks, walking the property, and lounging indoors. Definitely a great getaway! ”
