”Had difficulty finding handicapped parking, but I understand ,there was a special Olympics event.”

”San Antonio is the Texas destination center. Starting at the Alamo where the 185 knew death was ultimate, we honor dedication to principle. The Menger is THE PLACE to visit San Antonio. 100' feet from the Alamo the staff dedication to the upkeep of this 150 yearold hotel is admirable. Clean. Kind staff. There are fancier facilities nearby, but the Menger is our only home in San Antonio. ”

”Stayed here for a stock show. Good proximity to the barns.”

”This was a one night stay. We’ve stayed there before, and one of the reasons we keep coming back is mainly the cleanliness. Unfortunately, this time around it wasn’t so clean. The towels didn’t smell clean. One even had a red dot stain…ugh! The corners of the walls in the bedroom needed some cleaning. Staff was courteous, and had no problems w checking in or out. Will definitely be thinking twice about staying there next time we visit San Antonio. ”

”Rooms looked dated. Didn’t smell like mold or wet. Shower wasn’t the cleanest. Room was mostly clean, socks and hair laying around. Parking was great. Bellhop was nice. Pool could’ve been cleaner.”
