If you're close to Uvita, check the tide schedule and get down to the beach! Humpback whales raise their young in Marino Bellena as the waters are shallow and warm and they feel safe. Coincidentally, at low tide, the beach forms a "whale's tail" shape, and it's stunning to see.

There is a National Park entrance fee, that I believe was in the $3-6 range for the day.

”My friend and I stayed here on this gorgeous mountaintop gorgeous location for 4 nights. The owners, Lori & Bobby were fantastic hosts welcoming us as we arrived and made us feel at home. Once there we upgraded to the main house with the pool and ocean view. Well worth it! You must have 4 wheel drive! ”I had a great stay at Ginger Room. The room was clean, with storage and some hangning space. Having access to a mini fridge was verry useful. There is a nice view of the ocean from the terrace, great sunset colours! I saw a variety of birds and animals. I echo the comments on the need for a 4X4 vehicle to reach the property. Lori was very attentive and responsive to any needs or questions, accommodating and just overall considerate. ”

”We enjoyed our stay at Jardin over Christmas. The room was perfectly sized for two people. We appreciated the air conditioning at night and the bed was comfortable.
