”Our room (cottage) was perched 180 ft above the beach. It was perfectly outfitted with porch, kitchen, bedroom w king size bed. The bathroom was amazing with separate shower and toilet rooms. Both were overlooking the ocean and beach and entire grounds. The entire building was done in local, highly polished, hardwood. The downside is if you don’t have a car rental the taxi fare is 70,000 xfp so stay a few days.”

”Lovely hosts and a wonderful view. The host and her family are simply lovely folks and we felt so welcome. This is a small, family run property and they could not have been nicer. So glad we made this choice. It was terribly humid but the room was a reprieve from the steamy walk to town. Wi-Fi was fine. I never tried the TV because being here was a nice respite from the US.”

"Overall a great place and the atmosphere and service was fabulous! You can find quiet spots by the beach even if you’re in the ”family” side. The pool area was pretty crowded when it was sunny, so in order to get a sunbed you have to go there either early in the morning or later in the afternoon. The only minus comes from the fact that the rooms are not soundproof- you can’t hear the neighbours but you can definitely hear everything happening outside, constantly passing shuttles, people talking etc. Not the biggest problem for us but might be for someone :) "
