”We visited during the summer on our road trip through New England. The town was completely dead. I can imagine it's wonderful in the winter but we were a bit disappointed. The hotel was very nice with good additional services. The spa seemed to be very small so during the peak season I would imagine it gets really growded. The staff was friendly and overall I'm happy with the place (+ we got the nigth at a bargain price). The breakfast was nothing to write home about.”

”This was such a disappointment! My wife and I went for our 30th Anniversary as we stayed there about 30 years ago and loved it!! My wife wanted to go again. I was skeptical as I saw the reviews were not the greatest and the price was a lot cheaper than it once was. I told my wife that we may not want to go but she insisted. The reviews were being nice! ”Good location for a quiet place. This is an okay summer stop. No AC on a hot June day was hard as well as it was very buggy inside the windowsills. I realize it is more of a rustic, true Vermont lodge idea just wanted people to be aware. I am sure in the fall and winter when it is busier it is a completely different location.”
