”**Disappointing anniversary stay** We booked Lanelay Hall over three months in advance for a special anniversary and were looking forward to the luxury boutique experience advertised. ”Wir waren nur eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp hier, aber das Inn ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und sauber und die Kommunikation mit Jacqui sehr freundlich und schnell. Leider waren wir an einem Montag da, an dem das Pub geschlossen ist, der Gastraum ist so gemütlich eingerichtet, dass wir gerne im Abendbetrieb da gewesen wären. 😊 So war es leider nur zum Frühstück.”

My only observation is that the Arts & Crafts building offers an opportunity to enhance that throughout rather than what is on the walls now, and feels like generic hotel decor that could be found anywhere. ”The Three Cocks Hotel was an interesting facility. We arrived at about 6:50 pm, 10 minutes before end of check-in, but there was a note on the counter with the room key for self checkin. Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs. Breakfast was ok, but...

”The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities.
