”First time in Agadir and first time in Morocco. Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sofitel. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, and the hotel has its own beach area looking out onto the promenade with a sea view. The nearest shops and other restaurants are a bit or a walk but you don’t really need to leave the hotel. Souk El Had was a 50MAD taxi ride away. There was lots of options at the breakfast buffet- I’m missing the fresh bread! Would definitely...

”Hotel lies in a very pleasant environment with restaurants, shops, stores, housing, in the middle of urban everyday life. Still situation is peaceful and quiet. Staff is pleasant, skilled in languages and helpful. Rooms are tidy, bed is good. Everything works. For todays traveller, there are enough power sockets in the rooms. We stayed for two weeks and were satisfied. ”

”Stayed here for 4 nights after a 5-day stretch in Marrakech. For what you are paying, you get a lot of value. The hotel is a bit dated, but the room was big (large living room, functional kitchen with a large fridge, bedroom with two twin beds and a large enough bathroom that was clean), there were two pools (one shallow, one deeper), the location was very safe, and there were plenty of food options. ”Absolutely delightful way to begin our trip in Morocco after flying in to Agadir. The hotel/riad was the family home with gorgeous woodwork, tiles, light-filled spacious rooms. Melli is super helpful and responsive. Dinner was delicious. The room had a balcony and view. It is an older home so not “modern” like a hotel but totally comfortable and far more charming. Highly recommend if you’re passing through Agadir and not going to the beach.”
