”Don't let the look of the property scare you. It is clean and reasonably priced. Bed was comfy. Easy check in. Close to scenic areas. If you don't want to be in Anchorage this will do. You get to see the mountains out your window and see the sun getting lower on them. The downside is the slight scent of wet dog and no air conditioning.”

”I knew I was booking a place to just lay our heads for the night but the pictures they have posted paint an entirely different picture than what you truly get. We arrived 15 minutes early to our check in time and was told that if we wanted to check in early it was a $10 fee. I even asked, 'only 15 minutes early and you will still charge me?' Yep. The room price was $150/night and they required a $200 deposit which is pretty wild. Carpet was stained, bedding was old and worn out, there was hair...

”Well, with the Keystone you get what you pay for. It's a cheap hotel. The building is old and delapitated. The rooms are quite small. Still uses old fashioned physical key to lock/unlock the door. There was no thermostat in our room. We had to adjust the opening of the window to maintain temperature, else the room got really hot. The free breakfast is a plus but has limited selection. Like I said, you get what you pay for here.”

”We had a small porch which faced a babbling brook. It had a fire pit. We enjoyed sitting and watching wildlife. There was a moose who walked through. The was a Dipper bird, which is a songbird that can dive in the water and collect insects. Bathrooms were in a separate building. Very high quality bathroom and showers. They were a short distance. We were very happy for our two days. It was very close to Seward.”
