”At first we were placed in the Calvert House but then switched to the Johnson. The shower plumbing was broken. The shower soap pump did not work. The tub porcelain was chipped and the pillows were very hard. The door did not seal at the bottom and hall light came in. Air conditioning was noisy.
I know it is a historic inn but these issues should not have been there. I would not go back.”

”The reception told I would get a quiet room that I had requested upon booking. Eventually, my room was right on top of the main entrance where I could hear all the cars leaving their guests to the hotel. There was also a small playground facing my room. The noise was even worse because the door of my balcony couldn't be closed completely. Sound proofing in my room was also very poor and I could hear my neighbors and people walking on the aisle. There was also smell of smoking coming into my room...

I selected this hotel over others in the price range and location because it had a pool and I knew that I would need that to relax after days of physical stress. When I checked in I was informed that the pool was not available this season. I should have spent more and found a place with a pool. I was simply too exhausted.”
