”We can't understand how this hotel has a 5 star rating. We travel several weeks a year around the world and I've relied on reviews until now, but... The main pool is full of screaming children, so if you're an adult without children, it's not for you. The adult pool was small and secluded with no amenities. The only restaurant in the hotel is a bar by the main pool, which honestly can't be called a restaurant. The "Deluxe studios" are in separate 3-story buildings with dingy and untidy hallways....

”If you are planning a stay at Poipu, stay at Ko’a Kea. It is a small boutique property but experienced enough to provide great service, grounds and food. The property was well maintained and clean. It is right at the oceanfront and our room faced it, just steps away. Everything we ate and drank from the bar menu and Red Salt was superb. There are a some things that could be improved that are not Hurricane Lowell related. The bathroom and shower could use updated tile and trim and a double sink....

During our stay Phil put up an outdoor projector movie for all of our family and friends to enjoy watching the Moana movie and ordered us pizza. They were always open to giving advice on the best places to visit on the island for any activities that we were looking for. They offer gear to borrow for the beach such as snorkeling gear and boogie boards, so...

”There were fruit flies in my room during my entire five day stay. The owner of the room did not leave a phone number so that I can contact them regarding the issue. I was never given an email with the owners information. I asked the front desk and they said I should’ve received an email but I did not. The room needed to be painted and the bathroom shower faucet kept dripping. The doors covering the sliding doors would not open fully so my view of the mountain was blocked. There was only one...

”Toimiva rantahotelli palveluineen. Näkymä uima-altaalle ja valtamerelle oli hieno. Ilmainen pysäköinti isolla parkkialueella. Hotellin aamiaisella myös buffet vaihtoehto, jossa melko hyvä tarjonta. Kävelyetäisyydellä jonkun verran palveluja, mutta en suosittele pimeällä kävelyä, koska katuvalot eivät olleet käytössä. Auto oltava käytössä.”
