”Lovely experience! Look no further this is the place you want to rest up and feel the warm hospitality of Fraser & Ann. Rooms are tidy and there is a open room to hang out. Short distance from the Hokitika town and easy access to Hokitika Gorge. Breakfast is delicious (don't forget to discuss the subtleties of different Marmite with Fraser). Can whole heartedly recommend this place for everytype passenger.”

”Andy, the owner, takes great pride about his place. Its location in Bluff has a beautiful view. Room and amenities are very good. Breakfast was included. It was a continental breakfast with cold cereal and simple yet tasty egg hot egg plate choices. Beautiful background soothing music with great view of the ocean. Right next to walking track along the bluff. Next door restaurant has great seafood choices with also great views of the open ocean. Would definitely recommend it also.”

”We stayed in the aeonium apartment which doesnt have a sea view but is still in a great location in the lovely garden. The apartment was clean spacious and had kettle, toaster, nespresso machine and fridge. An excellent continental style breakfast is self service in the shared kitchen between 8 and 9am. Staff and other buests were feally friendly”

”Te Mahuru is a most exceptional, beautiful, very clean and overall, a perfect place to stay. Jen went out of her way to be accommodating and we give thanks t the highest rating possible. The gardens and views were spectacular, the hot tubs were lovely and very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Homemade bread each morning and plenty of great choices. The patio off our room was very private and comfortable for sitting with a cup of tea gazing at the beautiful mountains in the background....
