The setting was serene and refreshing, but what stood out most was the exceptional hospitality from every member of the staff warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options that made every morning special. A perfect blend of comfort, scenery, and genuine care. Highly recommended. Please work on your parking though.”

”Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at the Onrock. Our visit was made especially pleasant by the gentleman running the reception. Warm, caring and friendly service all the way. The only downside was that for this pricerange one would expect an AC. There were two fans in the room, but both were so noisy that at least we could not sleep with them on. But other than that, very good experience all in all. ”

”Lovely place to stay. Beautiful view to the mountains and the sunrise was amazing. The hotel is located on the small road so the bigger cars are not able to drive there. However the tuktuk is easy way to get in there. The place is really quiet and the railway is going nearby. There you have an easy access to Ella rock and to the town. It took around 15min to walk to Ella town. There is not many places to eat in the evening near by but in the town there are many restaurants. In the dark I got the...

”we had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this.”

We had the pleasure of Thushanthan helping us with both directions, tips and service — and he spoke our language as well! Overall, a great place to stay for a weekend in Ella. Kävelyetäisyydellä juna-asemalta jos kulkee junarataa myöten, mutta päätietä kuljettuna pitää nousta mäkeä myöten hyvän matkaa ennen kuin mökit löytyvät. Majoituksesta teki ihanan omalle terassille ennakkotilauksesta toimitettu aamupala ja hyvin avulias henkilökunta, joka mm. pakkasi aamupalan meille mukaan paluun junamatkalle. Varsinaista respaa majoituksessa ei ole, joten henkilökuntaa on ajoittain vaikea löytää.”
