HelloThank you for choosing Tall Pines Inn, we appreciate you sharing your experience with us. With our Family Duplex Units there is actually one door on your side and one door on the adjoining side. They are solid wood doors, not hollow core and there is sound proofing on the back side of the door. The sound you hear from the other unit simply comes from the shared wall. We wish we could improve that but the units are older. We provide the sound spa in hopes that helps :)We hope to see you again in the future, safe travels

Hmmm... where did you stay? :) If you read our reviews I think you will find they don't match your review. I'm sorry I'm at a loss. We are sorry you had a disturbing experience.

We know some days are worse than others - did the sound spa we provide help at all? If you have any suggestions please let us know. We have thought of speed bumps but they would require city approval!! Hwy 62 is another matter. We hope that will not deter you from another visit someday!

HelloWe are very sorry for your frustration with the TV and only wish you had talked to us about the remote control sooner, as it worked different than the one you had at home. Channels can not be changed using the circle of arrows in the middle. The arrows around the circle do not control the stations. Once we showed you the up and down stations button and we adjusted the the angle the TV was pointing the TV worked fine. Additionally you were with us during the area wide COX internet/cable outage. Extremely frustrating, we contacted Cox multiple times but unfortunately we were helpless to change the outage. Cox had a "node" they were having trouble repairing. Not helpful but it was all we had to offer our guests who did not have internet/cable. Again we apologize you were frustrated with you stay. Thank you for choosing Tall Pines Inn
