”Awesome stay! Absolutely awesome. We booked just basic room for two, but since they had available rooms for 3-4 persons they gave it to us and we loved it! Everything looks like in the pictures.”

”Arrogant service, owner… Safe key did not work so no safe available. Room key did not work, had to go back for the other key twice… Non-soundproof room. You could hear everything from the corridor and the other rooms. Smell of cigarette in the room coming through the ventilation. Terrace was nice with a sea view. We rearranged our dinnerplans because of the poor level of service. Not a 5* hotel. Also skipped the breakfast for three days because of the rude service the first morning. ”

”The stay at Maison Montgrand Marseille Vieux Port was in overall a nice experience. The first receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly but rest of the staff was also really nice. The room was nice size with a french balcony and really nice bathroom. The reception building where the breakfast was served also was a really beautiful. ”In a good way the most basic hotel. Everything was very tidy and you cant hear a thing from the corridor nor from the street which is good. We wished to have some tables etc in the room; there was nothing to put your stuff on. The area is not that cozy but trams and buses run often. Good air conditioning. The staff was nice. They wanted to charge 5e extra for leaving the luggage in the hotel for a couple of hours after check out so we didnt leave anything (usually this is free). For this price...

”This is a fine hotel in the Vieux Port area, only a few hundred metres from the actual port. Dog friendly, dogs allowed in the breakfast area. Good standard breakfast. If you come by car I recommend not to try to drive to the hotel entrance but to the closest parking garage which is only like 200 metres walking distance away.”
