”Stayed one night and I'm very happy for my choose. Everglades City Motel provided what it promised. Super friendly reception staff, comfy and clean rooms and a good location for starting your Everglades experiences. The motel area doesn't provide too much facilities other than your room but right next to it there is a restaurant serving typical American food. Opens quite early so it is a good place for breakfast too, unless you want some healthy food then I advise to buy your own breakfast from...

”Woke up to a huge palmetto bug on the wall next to my bed...AKA American cockroach. It was the size of a half dollar. Office made it out to be no big deal. Floor was not clean. After searching under beds and dressers looking for bugs so my kids would go to sleep, noted garbage under dressers and beds along with dirt and debris. There was hair in the shower all over. Would never stay here again!! Horrible experience!! Not clean like the pictures show. ”

The location was perfect for us — the children loved the pool, the park nearby, and it is only a short drive to the beaches. The game room was also a big hit. Our host was very responsive to our questions during the week.”
