Hostellit – Explorer Country

”Large room. Clean, easy parking quiet and peaceful. Would stay there again”

”Friendly, convenient and very comfortable. Would recommend for others headibg to Parkes, NSW”

”Old and mouldy bathroom that was disgraceful and needs repair and deep cleaning. Shower missing tiles, cupboard was rotten and falling apart although doors had already been removed as i would suggest water damage previously. An absolutely disgusting motel. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling which is a health hazard. I may even report the motel to health authorities to undertake an inspection.”

”Amazing experience. Recommend two nights at Rhino room.”

”We had a great 2 night stay at the Horatio. Everything was comfortable and clean. The place smells fresh and is well ventilated. It is a bit of a walk to the town centre.”

”Unfortunately, our experience at the North Parkes Hotel was disappointing. Before booking, we called the hotel directly and were quoted $150. We then found the room cheaper through Expedia. When we questioned the price difference, we were told that they were “not a charity”, which we found to be quite an unnecessary and dismissive response. We booked specifically because we were travelling from Parkes through to Brisbane and expected to be able to have dinner at the hotel restaurant....

”A little way out of town but ok. Lovely large room and super comfy bed. Awesome shower. Quiet location. Only negative. It could have been cleaner in the bathroom.”
