”The Barnsdale hotel is in a lovely and convenient setting with ample parking.
The Sydnet spa is great and the pool was wonderful for an afternoon cool down. Plus super cute Highland cows!
Breakfast and dinner is wonderful in the beautiful courtyard.
The Barnsdale is an old building which means the lack of air conditioning was a challenge during the heatwave.
The power shower remains a mystery why anyone thought this was a good choice to install!”

No air conditioning was a bad feature. The fan provided had no impact.
If it had been the heatwave week it would have been unbearable.”

”V disappointing stay. Booked a superior room, which looked very nice on Expedia. Unfortunately our room looked nothing like the pictures online, the decor was very tired especially the bathroom which had paint flaking off the walls. Further, the room was very hot and with the need to open windows, very noisy due to the road in front of the hotel.
We were offered another room which was on a higher floor but still had the same issues.
Be very careful booking this hotel. Pictures are...
