”This is a superb hotel but I think your experience depends very much on the room you choose. The grounds are vast and various accommodation built on a hill, with reception in the beautiful main hotel whilst the restaurant and pool are higher up. Buggies are available to take guests around and the views can be spectacular.
I originally booked a cosy double without thinking about the importance of the view. Although thoughtfully placed on the ground floor to aid my mobility, the room overlooked a...
