” This resort is definitely a budget resort next to the road far from the beach. The only good thing here was the staff who is very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were cottage with the Seaview which had a good view of the sea but hard to find other good things. The finishing of the building was completely unfinished and, for example, there was a big gap above the door from which mosquitoes got inside. After the shower, the floor space is wet because the sponge curtain was too short. Hot water...

”The unit itself is fine, just as described and pictured in the listing, was clean and A/C worked good, though the WiFi was weak to non-exsistant during my stay. I mention that because it’s the main reason that I book certain places (I need WiFi). If they say there is WiFi and it doesn’t work, it really messes up my trip! The last day the WiFi came back on but nobody bothered to let me know they changed the password! Staff was very nice and food was decent (especially compared to options around...

”The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. ”
