”We have just returned from a brilliant couple of weeks at La Roche. The house and setting is lovely and so peaceful. We loved sitting in the garden or by the pool and listening to the birds. The house itself sleeps 8 and upstairs is a/c which was a relief from the 34 degree heat. Pool was clean and large enough for all the kids to play. Nearby to Bergerac with lots of easily reached day trips. Would definitely return. ”

”The location of this property is great. Secluded, peaceful, and surrounded by countryside, yet just a 10 minute drive into Bergerac, and only 20 minutes to the airport. The 4 of us used three of the 4 bedrooms (each with a double bed) but it would comfortably sleep 2 couples with 2 young each. Lots of space downstairs with a choice of large tables to eat at. A well equipped kitchen with large US style fridge/freezer and a big cooker. Large TV room with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. Huge...

”We’ve just come back from an amazing stay. The farmhouse is full of character and well equipped with everything we needed. The pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside and gardens. Our host Tanya was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, thankyou Tanya. A real home from home. A generous starter hamper was a welcome surprise when we got there. All in all a very enjoyable holiday and a place that we are looking forward to going back to. ”

”Belle gîte honoured its name: within an old farmhouse this gîte was charmingly set and furbished, with access to beautiful terrace under high roof where we relaxed every night and during daytime as well. The pool is in the back garden with view on vineyards and surrounding area. Hosts Simon and Cheryl are wonderful, around and available if needed, warm and positive attitude. Peaceful area full of vineyards.”

”A fantastic place to stay. Perfect for relaxing with 3 families....such a beautiful, tranquil and peaceful area. The kitchen area and facilities were brilliant and great for hosting a large group. We were slightly unlucky with the weather so didn't enjoy the beautiful pool as much as we would have liked to! Would love to return though....With hindsight I would have booked 3 weeks rather than 2!”

”If the property was owned by Ronseal it would use the phrase "Does it exactly what it says on the listing". Easy check in and communication great during our stay for a couple of minor things that came up. Location is brilliant as 15 mins from the brillliant towns of Eymet and Duras and a hypermarket in Pineuilth. Quet location even though a road is close .Pool area is brilliant . Garden and amenities great . All ages stayed from 18 months to 82 years old and we loved every minute even the 8...

”A beautiful property in a stunning region. We count ourselves extremely lucky to have found this farmhouse, with just 8 weeks from booking to arrival. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and the outdoor areas are simply lovely with breathtaking views of the vineyards. We wanted a week to relax and unwind — we achieved this and more. We haven’t known a place so quiet and idyllic.During our stay, the robot pool cleaner broke down, but it was swiftly collected, repaired, and returned. This didn’t...
