”We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was exceptional and generously replenished all toiletries and bottle water every day. The bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning was powerful. Very beautiful hotel. ”

”This was the ideal hotel, GREAT STAFF, GREAT restaurants-all 3, GREAT location, Great Spa upscale, well maintained, very clean, beautiful lobby, staff takes care of everything. We had an exquisite Mediterranean Sea view, again LOVED the staff all throughout the hotel-those at the door, security, front desk, restaurants, spa, cleaning service, all so beautiful, friendly, helpful, etc. This hotel would be my first choice if I stay in Alexandria again!”

”Well located and close to many historic sites, with plenty of nearby restaurants offering diverse dining options. The only suggestion I would make to the staff is to improve the cleanliness of the beach and the water. We found a lot of debris in the sand, including cigarette butts and various types of trash. Smoking is very common, and unfortunately many people leave their waste behind. The water also contained litter, ranging from chip bags to other garbage. Perhaps the hotel could limit the...

”We booked the bungalows and it wasn’t as we expected. It was so primitive even no TV later on we found out it’s very basic. The Private beach wasn’t as we expected if you’re planning to book choose the cabanas it’s much better and the beach. There is very nice.”

”Lovely decor from the colonial era, large well furnished room, but the wrought iron balcony railings desperately need cleaning and repainting to preserve them. The lift is glorious, and operates beautifully.”

”It’s a nice place to stay I encountered noisy atmosphere because the hotel had a tournament of kids from certain schools. Otherwise the hotel is pretty nice but needs a car or Taxi for transport to downtown”

”This is my second time staying at the Cecil i love the history and everything about the hotel to me i also love the location middle of the city but I'd you prefer a quieter area that might not be the best choice for you inside the room all was perfect Mr Ali at the reception was amazing accommodating and i cannot sing enough praises for him and also the staff that handles the luggage and the room”

”Staff was ok but they rarely do anything to accommodate you , area is totally isolated and only one restaurant you can order from . No transportation at all . No one to help you carry your luggage or any of that nature ”

”The room was very clean and look as good as the photos online, the breakfast was delicious and a good variety. Staff was good and friendly. My only complaint is not with the hotel but the community itself, no one sleeps and the cars are very loud all night long, it was very difficult to sleep so we left earlier than originally planned. They need to have police clear that area or something because they will loose a lot of tourists like that.”
