Majatalot – Ezcaray

”A lovely hotel - rooms are very spacious and beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and the restaurant serves a very nice dinner menu.”

”Okay nice staff”

”Wonderful place along the Camino, the owner is wonderful super lovely. The property is gorgeous and the view of the sunrise from the bedrooms is just perfect. The restaurant below is great as well, quite the varied menu for the size of the town. Breakfast is at whatever hour you require as the owner will ensure she is there when you tell her you’ll have breakfast. Truly one of the most incredible places along the Camino.”

”Very good value for the price. The room was very cosy and calm. The bathroom was shared with other rooms, but there was no problems with queuing. The room included towels and bed linens. You can get dinner and breakfast at the bar downstairs. There is a grocery store about 400 m away. I full recommend this guesthouse. ”

”Staff was amazing - early check in, help with transportation and just very hospitable. Best location and breakfast was good. Make a reservation for dinner if interested - they go fast.”

”Gorgeously decorated to suit the medieval building, very ample room with everything one needs for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was great! Fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli, ham, cheese, nuts, cakes, toast and jam. The lady owner was very welcoming and helpful. Although Hotels.com advertises the Tower with air conditioning, the place does not have it, but despite the hot weather the room stayed sufficiently cool to enjoy the Tower and the surroundings. Highly recommended for its uniqueness.”

”Un sitio ideal para conocer la Rioja alta y desconectar. El personal muy atento. Todo perfecto.”

”Beautiful modern villa and estate”

”Great property with fabulous, well kept rooms and lovely staff. A great pool area and lots of activities for families as well as a nice play area. Breakfast not so great sadly, eggs were green, bread and pastries were stale and hard, even juice was bitter and acidic. Sadly no vegetarian food at the restaurant last night either so, have left hungry… but it was a really nice hotel. If you’re not bothered about food, it’s definitely worth the stay!”
