”Great location - easy drive to so many hikes, nearby coffee shops, Charlottesville for dinner, and so very peaceful back at the cabin. Clean house, clear communication, lovely river trails. We've stayed in many cabins through the years, and hope to return to this one.”

”Rockfish River Cabin is every bit as visually appealing and comfortable as the photos and all of the reviews suggest. Its location and surroundings were also perfect for us. We (two couples and our pup) spent a wonderful three nights there and will be happy to return next year. Can’t beat the peaceful views and sounds of the river from the deck. We also enjoyed the walking path very much. Grilling on the deck and cooking in the well equipped open kitchen was a pleasure. Recommend Three-Notch’d...

”Very clean and a great, quiet location. My husband and I spent our first-ever weekend away from the kids, and it was way more space than we needed, but we appreciated the quiet time away. If we had brought the kids, they would have loved it, too! Maybe next time. ;)”

”The location and cabin are "beautiful"! We had a very relaxing vacation which was SO needed. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the location and we slept so well all 5 nights. We enjoyed walking to the river during the day and sitting by the fire pit at night. On our last day while we were sitting on the porch my wife said "this is the location and cabin that I would love to live in when I'm retired".
