    Perched above a beautiful lake with views from the entire house, Moondance is located only one mile from Route 151 aka "The Brew Ridge Parkway" where some of the best breweries and vineyards are easily accessible! She is a mere 12 miles from Wintergreen Ski Resort with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and all that Nelson County has to offer!

Hous is absolutely wonderful, beds are super comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, the homeowner thought of everything. Beyond pleased with our stay. We will be staying again next time we are in the area.

We had a lovely stay. The house and location was great. The place could have benefited from a little better cleaning (dirt/bugs on windows); we expected rustic and it was. The layout, beds, open area, kitchen, appliances were all great. Plenty of seating. The hot tub worked well. Nice outdoor space.

Perfection

Beautifully situated on a large pond with wonderful views out to the mountains. This wonderful cabin was a perfect place for our family if 14 to gather.

Great Time

We had a great time and loved this property. Had a few hiccups with communication through the app to the property manager and on the property location ( we were sent two different Canva packages and one of our friends went to the wrong property). But honestly, we would all stay here again and loved it!

This is a great house in a great location. The house is in a little private community surrounding a shared lake. The back of the house has a very large deck and faces the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and scenic.The location is about a 3 minute drive to Virginia 151 (the Nelson 151 Craft Beverage Trail).The house is log cabin style with lots of natural wood, beams, and high ceilings. It has all the amenities and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There is also lots of parking. We cooked every day and found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen and pantry. We also used the fire pit, which is very well laid out.Highly recommend.

House was great! Very clean, kitchen was well stocked, and had plenty of seating areas for our larger group. There is no TV in the upstairs living room which posed an inconvenience to the elderly family members that have a hard time getting up and down stairs. If we travel to this area again we would stay here a second time!

Excellent Adventure!

This cabin is excellent!! Everything it says it is and more! We had 5 adults and 1 child for our stay and had plenty of room. The large island is great for breakfast and playing games, and the view can't be beat! Overall one of the best experiences ever!

This was hands down the best Vrbo stay I’ve ever had. We stayed Friday through Monday with family and friends, originally planning to snowboard Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, poor weather on Saturday changed those plans—but honestly, we couldn’t have been happier about it in the end.Spending a full day at the house turned out to be a highlight of the trip. The home itself is incredible, with so many thoughtful amenities, and the hot tub and fire pit area were absolutely amazing. It was the perfect place to relax, spend quality time together, and make memories we’ll never forget.We had zero issues throughout our entire stay—everything was seamless from start to finish. On top of that, when the weather disrupted our plans, the host was beyond gracious and worked with us to allow a slight extension so we could spend Monday on the slopes instead of Saturday. We were immensely grateful for their flexibility and kindness—it truly made the trip.I cannot say enough good things about this property or the host. If I could give this stay 100 stars, I absolutely would. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone considering booking.
