”Everything was nice! I love staying at Marriotts. We had a little issue with out TV and the staff fixed it right away! The breakfast good, I loved the different oatmeal toppings.”

”Built in 1920’s-Inn w recent renovated crisp clean white rooms. Dining on site, watching freighters go by on the St Clair River. Hard wood doors, large windows lead out to the boardwalk. Beautiful fireplace in sitting area. Forget those higher priced bland hotels. This Inn is one of a kind. ”

”What a cute motel -very clean and updated-large rooms, nice view of the water. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly! Having the River Crab restaurant right there was awesome. I totally will stay again. If your wondering about this place, wonder no more!!”

”The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I loved the walk-in shower. However, I would suggest adding something on the bottom of the shower as it was awfully slippery. The breakfast buffet was very good. It would have been better if it were open until after 10am. We missed out on the second day by 10 minutes.”

”The cleanliness of the room was ok, and the staff was very nice. Property looked well maintained. But the key got stuck almost every time I entered the room, there was a huge draft that came through the door, the bed was hard, the pillows were super thin. But for the price, I can forgive that. But there was no hot water in the shower and the heating cooling unit either had it freezing cold or boiling hot, no in between. Not going back. ”

”The olny negative thing i have to say is that it would have been nice if we could have gotten fresh towels brought to our room and the old ones removed atleast every other day other than that i have no complaints the room and hotel were very clean and the staff was really nice and welcoming ”

”I ended up not completing my stay. Around 2 a.m., I felt unsafe due to someone outside my ground-floor window laughing and lingering nearby. Earlier, I had asked the staff to switch rooms because of how easily accessible the first-floor windows were, and I made them aware that I was uncomfortable with the situation. Unfortunately, the issue wasn’t resolved, and I ultimately had to call the police to have an officer escort me safely to my car.”

”Need more maintenance and cleanup scratches and stains all over the wall elevator exhaust fan broken in the bathroom hot water, not enough dog hair pet hairs all over the carpet”

”The property is relatively new and in great shape. Rooms are as advertised. The breakfast is good with a variety of options, cold cereals, oatmeal, bagels/toast/yogurt plus a hot breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausages & add ons, coffee/juice, etc. Ample breakfast seating and it’s clean. For long term guests, there’s a grill, picnic table and gas fire pit with chairs outside. From a ‘hotel expectations’ standpoint, this is top notch. What puts this hotel over the edge is the staff. ...
