”We loved our stay at The Founders Inn and Spa. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and willing to help. The grounds we beautiful. We enjoyed our walks in them. ”

”Have to pay for parking. Breakfast was OK. Coffee was fresh and hot. ”

”The hotel is under construction, but in good condition and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nice unfortunately we didn’t have time to get to the pool, but we had a nice stay”

”The room floor was dirty. It looked as if it hadn't been swept or mopped for over a several weeks. The curtains and comforter had burn holes in them. The faucet dripping was no stop and the tub has black spots in it. ”

”The AC worked well. The room was underwhelming. They need to upgrade the rooms, they are very outdated. Only 1 light worked in my room. The fridge was not clean, the room overall didn’t feel clean but it seemed like the best that could be done. The shower position resulted in water getting all over the bathroom floor. The elevator looked like a death trap. I even got stuck riding up and down as it failed to open on the 3rd floor, where my room was. ”

”Hotel smelled, room wasnt cleaned competely before i got arrived. There was a hair in my shower, walls had dirt and grim. Hard time sleeping it was loud, people were in and out of the hotel, people yelling the halls, dog barking in the next room until 2am, cars in the parking lot hanging out blaring music, it didn't get quiet until about 2:30am. ”

”The sheets had not been changed but the bed was made up. Sheets were full of hair and sand. Horrible place. Never another Econo Lodge! ”

”Great location and powerful AC or heat! Would book again in a pinch”

”No included breakfast for the high priced rooms, bad. Small pool for the “tallest” building in Virginia and high priced room, bad. No available vending on any floor, bad. ”

”Everything was amazing ”

”The stay was nice until the last day. We left to get some stuff for the travel back home. We returned to the hotel and a church event wouldn’t let us back in the parking lot. They directed us to go around the corner to a parking lot not connected to the hotel. We called the hotel no answer along with a member called from a room in the hotel and no answer. ”

”Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and respectful. Room was clean. Parking was easy”

”This property needs to be updated, appliance needs to be cleaned or replaced. The refrigerator looked like it came out of a dumpster. The nightstand drawer wouldn't close. Paint was peeling off the way, and the mattress was dented it. The pillows were terrible. ”
