”My husband and I stayed here this past weekend. Parking could not be any easier, but pulling up to the outside we weren't sure what we were walking into. But once we walked in everything seemed brand new and super clean. The space is conveniently laid out and it was perfect! The neighborhood was very quiet. ”The only downside to this stay was the inaccurate information given on my hotels.com reservation regarding calling the property 24 hours in advance to receive the access codes for entry. The host actually sends you a text on the day of your arrival with that information. The hotel has no parking, it's street parking only, which really wasn't a problem since we could pull up in front of the building and unload. Glad we were on the first floor - there's a long staircase to the second floor. ...

”My 2 sisters and I are in our early 70’s. After doing the Bridge Walk we wanted to spend the night somewhere unique and that is exactly what the Skoolies are. Very clean, modern and more spacious than you would expect in a school bus. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied, overall very nice. Only downside for us was outdoor spray showers with no enclosure (we washed off in bathroom sink). But would definitely stay again if occasion arises! Big thank you to Omar and Julie! ”

”I cannot recommend this home enough. I spent a fantastic long weekend here escaping the city fireworks with my dog. We enjoyed the early morning walks and bird watching and relaxing by the river in the afternoon. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything I needed. I was so sad to leave, and would love to return in the future. The George Washington National Forest is stunning, and this home is the perfect way to experience all of its beauty. ”

”Everything was as pictured! The bus location is closer to the other bus than imagined, but no one was occupying the space. This was a home away from home in a secluded area. It was a nice hilly drive to get to the property. We didnt have starter wood for the fire and within 15 minutes someone came by on 4 wheelers and delivered some! The stay did not disappoint. If I could stay for a month I would. Bring bug repellant! ”

”I can't say enough great things! This little cabin was so peaceful, exactly what my dogs and I needed! The place is old but well maintained, just what you would expect in a mountain cabin!
