This is a new modern mountain two-story home located just minutes away from downtown Asheville! Cozy accommodations and beautiful mountain views; perfect for a family/friends' quiet getaway! Enjoy the best coffee and danishes just steps away from the property! Take a 10-minute drive to downtown Asheville and enjoy great food, shopping, tours, breweries, and distilleries. The Biltmore House /Biltmore Villiage is a great day trip and is only a short 15-minute drive. The hiking trails in this area are awesome! We are happy to share a list of our favorites!

Perfection!

This property was perfect for our family of six (our “children” are 17,18, 21 and 24), from the amenities to the location. The property is only a few exits out from the Biltmore Estate and an easy 10 minutes from downtown, plus there is a grocery store a mile or two away. The house is well equipped with a lot of special touches such as toiletries, cozy throw blankets and plenty of nice, fluffy towels and a coffee machine that suited everyone! We loved relaxing in the living room by the fire after our daily adventures. Amy was easy to communicate with and made our stay at The Daughter’s Den perfect!

Wonderful home in Asheville

Cleanest property ever. We were here with my wife’s sister and brother-in-law from Florida who have rented many properties. New very nice home. Very comfortable. Close drive to downtown yet easy easy access to many areas. Amy and Wendell are great hosts. 5 stars all around. You want to stay here.

The Daughter's Den is a delightful dwelling!

My family of 7 truly enjoyed our trip to Asheville, NC. The Daughter's Den provided a relaxing and comfortable home base for all of our daily adventures. The home is very clean and modern with a calming decor. All of the appliances are new and very nice. The beds are very comfortable, so much that our kids asked if they could get the same beds at home. The house feels very open and well sized. Two of the bedrooms are large with walk in closets and complimented with clean and luxurious bathrooms. Another bedroom has two twin beds and plenty of room with a bathroom across the hall. We also enjoyed the large family room upstairs for watching movies and playing games on the Nintendo Switch my kids brought with. The kitchen is clean with plenty of space and had all of the amenities we needed. For our family, the house was just perfect! The house is situated in a small neighborhood with cute homes and beautiful views of the mountains. When there, we were only minutes from several of our destinations, including downtown Asheville, Biltmore House, Blue Ridge Parkway, and the North Carolina Arboretum. We also ventured to Chimney Rock one day and another day to DuPont State Recreational Forest for some mountain biking and views of waterfalls. Another highlight was walking to a nearby local coffee house each morning for a good dose of caffeine. If you travel to Asheville, I highly recommend staying at the Daughter's Den!

Beautiful Asheville Mountain Home

Our family with two teen children enjoyed this home and the space to spread out and give everyone their own bed and bathroom. Home is exactly as listed, clean and just as cute as the pictures make it seem. Owner was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect girl's weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Daughter's Den. It was extremely clean and very well resourced with everything what people would need. The host was very helpful and checked in to make sure things went well. She was also accommodating to our needs. Check out her distillery, Cultivated Cocktails!!! DELICIOUS 😋 Asheville is a perfect girl's getaway.. especially if you like beer!! Highly recommend this place!!!! 👌

Great home, great location

This was a great stay! We had a group of 5 adults celebrating a 50th birthday. Plenty of space for us all. The house was immaculate and well stocked in general. Only snag was no starter bath soap, shampoo, conditioner so we had to hop over to CVS to grab some things. Centrally located to just about everything, it was a quick ride to where ever we were going. Communication was great with the owners! Responsive and informative.

We loved staying here! From the comfortable sheets and pillows to the trails and playground right outside our door, it was amazing! I didn’t realize how close we were to downtown Asheville. The coffe shop down the street was a huge bonus! I am already planning my next trip!

Sparkling Clean and Cute

This is a brand new property in a community under development that is close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was in immaculate condition. Everything was fresh and clean, and the beds were cozy and comfortable. However, more attention to detail is needed.. Household essentials, including toilet paper and soap, were in short supply, and only two of the four bathrooms were stocked. Communicating with the owner was complicated, due to the automated messaging system used by her company. For example, when our family was there less than 4 hours, we received a text message, thanking us for our stay and wishing us safe travels, even though we were not scheduled to leave for another day and a half! Although we enjoyed our stay, these issues prevented this property from receiving our highest rating.

Bad start but wonderful finish

We arrived and unfortunately the cleaning crew had not cleaned the house. I called the property manager and she immediately got to work on finding another option. We were placed in a similar house right down the street and had a fabulous time. Mari was fabulous and made it all work out. The location is great. We will be returning to stay at this property.
