”The staff was exceptionally helpful. The hotel was nice, just showing signs of poor maintenance and cleaning. The floors were absolutely filthy, along with the carpets. I had to wipe something up and it was disgusting.”

”I booked this hotel based on the images of the bright, clean King + balcony room shown when booking. However, the room we were pre-assigned as Expedia customers was dingy, carpeted, and moisture-filled, in an old part of the resort. The kind receptionist apologized but said Expedia bookings could not be changed and a different room could not be assigned (although they had other vacancies). She kindly offered complimentary breakfast, but this was not why we chose this hotel for our Asheville...

”Hotel and staff were very good but the area did not seem to be safe. There are homeless and obvious drug users in the area that would congregate at the entrance of the hotel parking lot. A couple blocked the entrance at one point as we were trying to enter. Asheville needs to find better ways to address the homeless throughout the city. Wish we had stayed in a different area. Probably won’t stay in this city again.”
