”a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended.”

"Excellent location and magnificent breakfast. Very helpful staff. The room was a bit outdated and while booking I didnt realize there was only a fan but no AC in the room we had (only some rooms have AC). We were lucky with the sunny weather but for the same reason the room was too hot (27-28oC) to sleep without having to shower in the middle of every night to cool down. Highly recommended, but make sure to book a room with AC if traveling in summer."
