”We really enjoyed our stay in this Civil War era home. Very clean with plenty of towels and soaps. It had a good location in Sharpsburg. We walked to the bakery (twice), the ice cream shop and the library. Easy access to the Antietam Battlefield. Appliances worked as expected. We have stayed in numerous period homes and this home was by far the best equipped for preparing meals in the kitchen. Wi-Fi was very good and strong throughout the home. Great place to stay in Sharpsburg.”

”The host did not respond to messages before we checked in. At check-in the backdoor to the house was unlocked and opened. When we got into the house, there was rotten and expired food in the fridge, stuff all over the counters, dirty dishes in the sink and dishwasher, dirty laundry in the washer and on top, and there was no heat.
