Good experience and a lovely location
Stayed here for a weekend with my friends and while we did have a lovely experience I do have some considerable gripes. First of all I’m a large lad, 5’10 and around 350lbs and I did not fit in the shower rendering it impossible for me to shower at the cottage for the duration of the stay. My wife and I also had a ceiling tile fall onto us while relaxing in bed one afternoon, with the ceiling tile came plenty of dirt and dead bugs which fell onto the bed which already came with a stained mattress cover and stained pillow sheets. The location also wasn’t exactly as advertised which maybe I just wasn’t paying enough attention but all the cottages are quite close to one another and are all visible from one another. Lastly the dock that comes with the lookout is technically private however it is a down the hill from the actual cottage and is directly behind the owner’s office cottage. All in all we had a great experience and were able to look past these issues but I know for some they might matter quite a bit. I will give a shoutout to the owners who were quite respectful and responsive and provided plenty of information.
