Chalet't – Faringdon

”At check in I asked for walks in the area from the accommodation and the lady said she didn’t know. I would expect the customer services dept to be able to provide that information. I would also expect to be taken to the room rather than pointed in the right direction. Room good as expected for price - disappointing no mirror in bedroom and not good ventilation in bathroom. Milk not provided for tea in room. Restaurant on a sunny Saturday afternoon- plates and glasses weren’t cleared away which...

”Very pleasant experience. Clean modern room and helpful staff. Cosy restaurant with good drinks. Breakfast is freshly prepared according to your choise, a bit heavy though. Rooms are located in a separate building near a big road so we heard a little bit of noise from the traffic.”

”We stumbled onto the Artist’s Residence, and fell in love with it. There room s are so cozy and so artfully designed and decorated. The staff was wonderful. They helped in any way they could. The pub is from another era, a wonderful era. The food is great. The other customers were friendly and interesting. Next time we are anywhere near the area, we’re going to be staying there.”
