”I chose to stay here as I had a flight the following morning at Heathrow. It was the ideal location, with parking and right next to the Thames, walking distance from the Magna Carta. However what I didn’t factor in was the size and number of guests. Having stayed the previous night in a small 5* hotel, I found the noise and crowds rather overwhelming ”

”We had a lovely stay and the team were all very friendly. The room was spacious and very clean, with a great shower, but the outlook was not great, and I feel that the view should be described at the booking or room description stage. The Brasserie evening meal was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our breakfast was also in the Brasserie and we were lucky enough to have a table with a river view. The breakfast was pretty good, however the cooked breakfast was luke warm, the fruit selection...

Itse rakennus on kiehtovan muotoinen, joka tekee siitä erilaisen moniin "laatikkohotelleihin" verrattuna. Alueella kauniita, vanhoja rakennuksia. Hotelli suositteli lähistöllä olevaa isoa pubia, josta sai kunnollisen päivällisen. ”

”The first room we were allocated looked as though the beds had been sat on, so we asked for a different room, and that one was fine. Soap and shower gel were the only toiletries provided and meagre amounts of tea and coffee were in the room. More was given on request and plant based milk too, which was great. We didn't eat at the hotel because as a vegan and a vegetarian, suitable food choices were limited, plus the information we were given was that, because we were staying out of season some...

The rooms have been renovated and are modern and comfortable, and the beds were very comfortable which we appreciated. However, there were a few downsides.
