”The best service I've ever had in any hotel! Only 40 rooms and a lot of staff, so they have time for everyone. Felt like they actually care for you, and don't just do it because they have to. Facilities (room, pool, common areas) actually better than the photos, and this is something that never happens. ”Ionian Arches is a really well located, clean, family run place. The photos on the listing definitely glamorise it a bit - e.g we chose a superior room with garden view, which actually looked out onto the driveway and some plants. We were also a bit disappointed to find our breakfast is only offered in the summer - June onwards - but luckily there are lots of cafes in walking distance. Our shower also didn’t work great due to the water coming out in one pressurised stream from the middle. But...

”Horrible rooms and receptionist. Please avoid unless necessary. We were staying here for 7 nights and realized it's not possible to stay here after 4 nights and requested a refund for the last 2 days given the following reasons with evidence. But the gentleman at the reception said to allow the cleaning team to come in, which we were already doing, which had no relevance. 1. Air conditioning close to not functioning and limited to 23 degrees as the minimum while being around 15/20 years old....
