This cabin was designed with gathering and getaway in mind, with a thoughtfully de-signed indoor and outdoor layout perfect for families or groups.

Inside, the fully equipped kitchen with high-end appliances opens to a cozy great room with a wood-burning fireplace and mountain views from every window.

The open-concept living area flows seamlessly to the outdoors, where you’ll find multiple decks, a covered porch, and several seating areas with firepits — perfect for sunrise coffee, stunning sunsets, or stargazing by night. You will find:

* A covered main-level deck with a private hot tub, perfect for soaking under the stars.
* A lower-level patio featuring a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with grill and dining area for unforgettable alfresco meals.
* A peaceful water feature adds the soothing sound of running water as you gather with loved ones around the firepit.

The main-level master suite provides a peaceful retreat, complete with stunning views and a stone fireplace. Also on the main-level, a bonus room outfitted with custom-made bunk beds makes the ideal hideaway for kids or extra guests.

Downstairs, two full bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms offer plenty of space and privacy for everyone. There is an additional den downstairs between the bedrooms that flows seamlessly to the covered porch.

Enjoy direct access to hiking trails right out the door along with everything else Leather-wood has to offer on-site (horseback riding, playground, swimming pool, tennis courts, fishing ponds, access to Elk Creek for fly-fishing or swimming). About 35-40 minutes to Blowing Rock and Boone.

This home is located in the 4000 acre, Leatherwood Mountain Resort in Ferguson, NC. Our guests are invited to enjoy our Horseback Riding program where you can experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains pristine wilderness by Horseback (reservation required). You will have access to miles of hiking trails, mountain streams, stocked fishing pond, community swimming pool, playground and tennis courts, creek tubing (seasonal), on-site restaurant with active live music & event calendar (guest advised to check hours when planning meals).

Leatherwood Mountains has surveillance or recording devices on the property. Our neighborhood is very safe and our property very secluded. For added peace of mind, we have security cameras by the gated entrance and common areas. Individual properties may also have cameras on the EXTERIOR of homes. Please be assured they are not directed at private areas, hot tub porches etc.
