”Gary is amazing and our kids loved the spa. The hot tub, fitness room with massage chair, pool and breakfast are incredible. The attention to detail at this place is wonderful. One of our best experiences traveling and staying all over the west coast from Alaska. If we come back down this way we will for sure be back. ”Douglas checked us in. He was wonderful. He takes great pride in Carter House and it shows. We loved the uniqueness of this historic hotel. It was like taking a step back in time, in a good way. The extra touches like the complimentary breakfast that goes above and beyond by an amazing chef and a complimentary cocktail at a cool bar each night was a welcome reprieve. We also appreciated the proximity to the Redwood forest. Driving thru the Avenue of the Giants was incredible. We will be back! ”
