Pensionaatit – Fès

”Beautiful Riad across the street from Fes Medina. Amazing architectural features in the room and building including stained glass windows, and exquisite tiling, plaster and cedar. Our room opened onto a generous balcony overlooking a luxurious courtyard which had a great lounge area for reading and meditation. Sama, Hamid and team were very friendly and helpful. The views from the roof terrace are spectacular and the breakfasts served there were delicious. Thank you for a memorable stay.”

”Absolutely stunning hotel. The best in Fes!”

”Outstanding hotel. Rooms are great. Bar and restaurant top level. Nothing to complaint”

”Hotel was nice, but you could not get wifi on 4th floor. Anytime you needed you phone for wifi you had to go to the lobby. Instructions on using the app for everything was confusing. Otherwise, was nice.”

”This traditional Riyadh was a wonderful place, it was clean, the staff was wonderful and helpful, and the suite on the top floor had great rooftop views, but a lot of stairs to walk up. It was right outside the old Medina and made it very convenient to walk to the palace. I would definitely stay there again.”

”A very pretty place. Owner was kind enough to pick me up from taxi coz hotel is tucked on a small lane. You will later learn your way. Room was quiet, but air-con should be fixed before summer. Also lights are quite dim. But there are lots of seats outside the room with more light. Breakfast was different Moroccan bread and an egg. ”

”A wonderful family run operation. L Easier to find than most roads, too, due to the helpful signage in the alleys. Great restaurant with an amazing view of the south fort.”

”We had a lovely stay at Riad Algila! The staff were phenomenal and so helpful, especially Yusuf and Hassan who treated us and our 1 year old daughter so well. The location was amazing, central near the Medina but the inside was so quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely return to this Riad!”

”Beautiful in every way. Staff was extremely helpful and the food was delicious! We will definitely remember our stay and spread the word to everyone we know. Food and location were excellent!”

”A fantastic stay in this stunning place. Staff was exceptional and the location was great too! Highly recommended.”

”Magical place. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.”

”Overall everything was good except a big language barrier. No one can speak English and it was so hard to communicate. Younus was really helpful and he was speaking spanish but were trying hard to help us in little english. Then later he started communicating with us through whatsapp because he wanted to translate it in english and spanish easily. We were leaving early because to catchup a train so he packed breakfast for us. So nice of him. Riad was really good and pretty but little run down....

”I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Staff were so helpful and kind Beautiful room Breakfast was YUMMY. But: Four stars because at no point in our correspondence did they inform me they are CASH ONLY. This policy exceptionally rare for lodging. As a visitor and solo woman traveller, I was uncomfortable maxing out ATM withdrawals on busy, narrow streets and spending extra on transaction fees, so they can save on fees and taxes. THEN having to walk around with wads of cash. All during my limited...

”Great 👍”
