”We stayed in a suite which was obviously very recently renovated. It was clean and comfortable. The a/c worked very well. There was a Keurig for coffee and a large mini-fridge. The grounds were well-kept with areas to sit with a group and chat or eat. There was a lovely fountain and flowers throughout the property. Would definitely recommend!”

”Over the years we have stayed in almost every fine hotel in Newport. We have made the Castle Hill Inn our regular habit. This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. ”The property consists of two rental units but this fact is not obvious from the pictures on the website. We did not get the rooftop deck with a view of the harbor. That belongs to the other unit. The sewer pipes are enclosed in the paper-thin walls of the first floor bedroom of our unit so every time someone flushes the toilet, uses the sink, takes a shower, you can hear water flowing through the pipes followed by loud clanging sound. Along with the loud music, people talking, chairs scraping...

”It was the perfect location for rental car drop off and a good night’s rest before an early flight. All the staff were accommodating, helpful and friendly. We had an early flight and were given a breakfast “to go” bag. We did walk from the parking garage to the hotel, about 1/3 mile (we chose not to use shuttle. Restaurant just down the road, easy walk . One suggestion-the tub needs a mat, it was slippery. ”

”Hotel was comfortable and clean. We had a sliding door out to our parked car so it was easy to unload and load. Breakfast was good with hot eggs and meat as well as cold options.
