Karavaanialueet – Filey

”Appalling customer service! We had planned a short break to visit friends in Filey at the beginning of August 2026 and made a reservation almost 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately, a family member was rushed into hospital just before the planned weekend and we had to cancel our trip. I wrote to the hotel via the Hotel.com messaging facility with apologies for the cancellation and enquired if they were prepared to provide us with a credit for a stay in the near future. We heard nothing from the hotel, so...

”Very well equipped and cosy. Easy access to the town and seafront. Quality bedding and towels. ”

”When we arrived there was no heating, within an hour of reporting it a plumber had come out, electric heaters were provided as it couldn’t be fixed straight away. Very efficient service. Apartment great location near facilities, very clean only downside is sofa bed in lounge really is not comfortable for sleeping on, you could feel the springs through the mattress.”

”Had 4 nights stay at Casa Crusoe, lovely accommodation. Great location, spotlessly clean. This is our second stay, would highly recommend. Will definitely be booking again.”

”Absolutely amazing had a fantastic week such a quiet peaceful place to stay it was mid week break and kids at school so relaxing great place to stay for a base ideal for visiting filey Brid Scarborough and all the little places about will book again in the future home from home”

”The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality. The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather.”

”Lovely house in a very quiet street in hunmanby . The house was spotless and warm when we arrived , it is very well equipped and everything there you need . Would definitely recommend and will book to go again .”

”Dudley's Retreat is a wonderful apartment on The Bay. We have stayed in a number of properties there and this is by far our favourite. Check in and pre-information was clear and concise. The attention to detail is excellent with all the cooking equipment you could need. It was super clean when we arrived and everything you need to keep it that way is in the apartment. All linen and bedding was great quality and the wifi is also excellent if anyone needed to work. This has genuinely been really...

”We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay.”

”This was a lovely stay, the apartment was perfect for us, very clean and plenty of parking. We've not got a dog but the whole site is very dog friendly and the beach is only a 10 min walk away... we loved the beach and the free swimming (bookable) was good too. Thank you”

”Very good value for money, exceptionally clean and functional. Everything was in top working order. We struggled with the very soft bed but other than that enjoyed the stay.”

”Overall great stay Used as base location and exploring whitby Robins hood bay and Scarborough Will stay again Downside bench right outside the main door bit off putting but apart from that great”

”We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the front door. Everything was perfect. It was lovely and clean with everything we needed for a comfortable 4 day stay. Beds were so comfy and clean. We will definitely come back.”

”Great location, excellent access to the beach for dog walking.Nice cottage. Basic facilities. Very poor television reception and WiFi was extra charge. No welcome pack!”

”Beautiful house loads of room very clean just one nigal a few dirty plates with food on them put back in cupboard and hob could of done with a clean and work surface BUT that’s not down to owners I understand thay employ cleaners to go in beforehand and the own did call us the day before we were travelling to tell us we could go in at 3.00 instead of 4 we actually arrived at 2.00 pm but I would strongly recommend this holiday”

”Absolutely will be back ! Lovely apartment, clean, all mod cons , everything we needed and more ! Comfy bed.”

”My family and I absolutely loved staying at Bailey's Beach House, everything was to a very high standard. Fully equipped kitchen was high spec and easy to use. The location were really quiet considering the house is near to the amenities. We especially enjoyed all the artwork around the house. Thanks”
