”The manager (possibly the owner) was lovely. We had a lake view room, which was beautiful once the fog lifted. It’s an easy walk to nearby restaurants, and we stayed for two nights on our way to and from Milford Sound—a great place to stop. The unit was clean and very well renovated, and we were pleasantly surprised to have an ensuite in the two-bedroom setup.
The only downside was the underfloor heating. I loved it, but my husband and daughter had trouble sleeping, even with the window open....

”The room was very nice with lots of room for luggage and it had all the necessary amenities as well as the little extras like cookies and chocolate. The hosts were great, giving us lots of useful information and the breakfast they provided was wonderful. The heated bathroom floors were a real luxury.”

”A nice well kept motel close to Te Anau center. Medium-size rooms have large private bathrooms. They have a washing machine and a dryer for customers, both are a couple of dollars per load. A free clothes line available in the garden, too. Very friendly service. Quite central, but extremely quiet location. Plenty of parking spaces.”
”Nice villa, but the bathroom was in need of renovation. Pool and barbecue area and pathways were not very welcoming (concrete). Good breakfast. Good location.”
