”The hotel had lots of amenities including multiple restaurants and two pool areas. It was in a lovely location with beautiful gardens. The staff were really helpful and adjusted my check-out time slightly later which was very kind. I also liked that there was a free shuttle to and from the ferry station from the hotel. ”Pet friendly is an understatement. The staff were so accommodating and went way above to make us and our dog Blue so welcome from his welcome pack to the fuss made over him it made our visit truly special. Massive thanks to Lucie, Taylor and Ray for looking after us and the old dog. Breakfast was brilliant and the I would highly recommend the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. Probably the spiciest and best I've tasted.”
”Stay was fine - bed was comfortable enough, woken up around 6am because the floor boards creaked so much when the upstairs guests were moving about. Floor boards also creaked in our room - really annoying more than anything.
Breakfast was fine - continental breakfast selection was nice, ordered cooked breakfast was a bit cold, thought it would have been fresh but seemed to be taken from a cool enough hot plate.”
”Fabulous place to stay. Bedrooms very high standard. Breakfast pre ordered and delivered to your room at the requested time. You can change your choice each day but we kept it the same. Staff were very friendly and checked with us that everything was ok and did we need anything more. If we are this way again I will definitely book this again. Parking was easy as the main street has loads of parking.”

”Rooms are a bit aged. Dining in the hotel was superior but very expensive. Breakfast is also recommendable. You absolutely need a car to go anywhere, the close by Tarbert is a nice fishing village.”
