”This type of stay was just not for me. I got a message to call 30 minutes before we get there. The number you call is a personal cell phone. I had to ask if they were the hotel. At that time is when O found out its cash only do I had to find a bank to withdraw funds. You don't get a key, you're asked to take a photo of a paper with your room code on it. You can't touch the thermostat as it controls temperature in multiple rooms. After check in the office door is closed and locked. You have to...

”The property needs updating and refreshment. Room furniture is old but functional, wallpaper in hallways need to be replaced.”

”We had an early morning flight, so we opted to stay in Detroit and dine at the hotel. The hotel’s a cool remodeled fire house and bank , the location was conveniently situated just off the highway. The staff was exceptional, and the food was really good. What more could I possibly want?! Additionally, as a platinum member at Expedia , I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated.”

”Keep in mind that this is a boutique hotel. The elevators & lobby are a little bit tight, but that's not a problem for us at all. We chose this hotel because it's walking distance to Ford Field, so that was a huge plus. Location was great for what we needed. The parking is pricey at $50 for valet parking overnight. ”We stayed one night and I appreciated the design of the hotel, with unique details. It was a little loud for my taste, apparently my neighbors had a problem at night and had to change rooms - they were not quiet about it. It was a random weekday so I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend. The staff tried to be really nice but there was a lot of confusion. ”The room was clean and I loved the free shuttle to the arena! Only con is that we stayed on the eleventh floor. The front desk representative asked us high or low floor but failed to tell us that the twelfth floor was being renovated! So at 7am we were awakened to loud hammering and drilling. The view from the room was beautiful and we loved the amenities, we would’ve chosen another floor if we were privy to the renovations.”

”Perfect location if attending events at ford field. Room was larger than expected and very clean. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. Valet wait was long but with the special events going on it was to be expected”
