Motellit – Fishkill

”The manager/owner at the front desk was not concerned. Parking was OK. The air conditioner was loud as anything! The shower head was so high up on the wall that I could not reach it, the TV remote worked the box, but not the television. It was horrible.”

”I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here and although it was only one night, it was exactly what I needed. Overall the property was clean, as well as the interior area and especially the room. Bed was comfy for me, although they should invest in bigger pillows but they were still good enough not to knock a star off the rating. The staff was really friendly and helpful including helping me to find my room since I made a mistake thinking she said 216 and it was 226 ... LOL. BTW ... the big...

”Cockroaches. 2 towels only. No toilet paper holder. Leaking sink so bathroom floor always wet. Hairdryer ripped out of wall. Window lock broken. Heater broken. Cold air only. Smelled of cigarette smoke.”

”Room was filthy. Tub was dirty and the trap was rusted apart. Our second room had a large leak in the ceiling. Both rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. We ended up driving home after an afternoon football game at army and getting in at 2 AM because the rooms were so rundown we couldn’t stay a second night.”

”The room was filthy with mosquitoes all over the walls and ceiling. The air conditioner was filthy with mold. The room stank so bad I could hardly stand it.”

”Be aware it is a classic 2-story “motor lodge” with doors opening on to the parking lot, but if you are okay with that the rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed, and the staff is super helpful. Would stay there again.”
