”2 stars because host seemed very polite to deal with. Other 2 star review very accurate. Heat was terrible. House wasnt clean at all. Mouse droppings found everywhere including on the griddle and in pans in kitchen. Throughout the furniture, bathroom stand beside sink and even on window seals. House and furniture smelled aweful. Mold coming thru bedroom ceiling. Open ended wiring just taped off in ceiling in living room. I feel it could of been great place if taken care of. ”

5. Lazy Lake Cabin 1! Pet Friendly

”Well it was a roof over out heads for one night , mattresses on the floor no frame and was stained up badly, one was a air mattress . All interior doors were sliding closest doors and all but one was actually hung and workable. The grill that was shown in pics was very nasty rusty and no propane bottle. There was a dollar general charcoal grill that was very very small that i did use. No counter space. A micro mini clothes drawer and washer and a mini fridge. Sink had a dirty pan laying in it....

”5 o’clock somewhere was great! Perfect for our quick last minute overnight trip and the cabin/house was cozy and comfortable! The host is great and super friendly and communicated well when our email didn’t come through for the door code. Called him and he got us right in and was super awesome to deal with! I would definitely book off him again! Cabin is perfect for 2 with cute decorations and the cutest kitchenette. The bucket list was a fun touch and i totally would have done it if we were...

12. Historical 4-bedroom farmhouse in serene Sharpsburg with AC.

Sharpsburg

”The property was as described. It’s a charming old farmhouse with a newly renovated kitchen with all of the tools you could need. Other folks mentioned that the plumbing is old and they ask that you put toilet paper in the trash cans not the toilet. That was not really a problem for us. The hosts ( and farm animals) were very welcoming. The property around the house is gorgeous and we loved the swimming pool. We didn’t leave the property for the whole weekend and had a great time!”

13. Historic River Town Retreat w/ Screened Porch

Ripley

”The house was perfect for our group. Very clean and plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. The only con was the frame on the bunk bed sits on the floor and seems to be broken. Every time you move it creaks and being so low to the floor makes it hard to get out of the bed. Also one of the members of the group was surprised that there was not a TV. We went into town and had dinner at the Boat Club. Food was good and we had a great view of the river and a beautiful sunset! Would definitely...

14. The Williams House by Mustard Seed Hill - A Cozy Bourbon County Getaway

Paris

”This property is an older home remodeled. the showers are only for SMALL people. they use horrible smelling air freshners. it took 2 days to get the chemical smell out. And the lights in the bathroom went out after the first day. The price on this home is way to high for the property. But on a good note, the fenced in back yard is huge. the dogs loved it. but the next door neighbor has aggressive pit bulls who go nuts at the fence when they are out. . And after letting the owner know about the...
