”The pictures on the site are misleading. There are probably some units that are More updated than others. I got one that definitely did not match the pictures with very old fashioned. It is partially remodeled but the remodelling has been done hastily and with a very low budget. Old fixtures have been painted over. The lighting is horrible, like in a hospital. On the plus side, perfect location and convenient parking. Also it was clean. It’s passable for a one night stay”

Our room had a kitchenette with utencils, microwave, fridge, dishwasher etc. and there was a laundry machine and a dryer. The Oaks M is located behind the Metropolitan hotel, and is not easy to see from the street. It even features a (fairly typical) gym, which has dumbbells up to 20 kg, though. ”We stayed 3 times at The Palmer. The attached Restaurant was quick, efficient and had some healthy and some decadent options. The rooms and ammenities are basic but comfortable. The free laundry facilities were nice but got a bit crowded for mid trip washing.”
